Social Impact

Education for Underprivileged

"Education in the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

– Nelson Mandela

At Kabira Textile, we believe that social responsibility extends beyond corporate obligations—it’s a fundamental human duty. The Indian handloom sector, despite its rich heritage, remains underprivileged due to limited global exposure.

In light of this, we have partnered with the Handloom Foundation. We allocate 5% of our profits to support their ‘Go to School’ and ‘Pathshala’ projects. ‘Go to School’ focuses on providing educational opportunities for underprivileged artisans’ children, while ‘Pathshala’ aids in running a free, active learning tuition school for disadvantaged kids.

Co-Creation for a better tomorrow

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that count.”

– Winston Churchill

Through this collaboration, Kabira Textile is committed to producing handspun, handwoven cotton and silk fabrics for garmenting and home linens. We strive to uphold heritage crafts such as Jamdani, Muslin, Kantha embroidery, and more.

Our partnership with the Handloom Foundation extends beyond these initiatives; we also work together to meet our Bengal handloom requirements. By collaborating with Kabira Textile, you are also supporting the Handloom Foundation’s impactful work and helping preserve India’s rich textile heritage.
